Finally a word from us Lehmans

Well, a lot has happened this last little bit . Let me get you up to speed quickly so you can look at the fun pictures. First, we moved into our house the beginning of August and are loving it!!! Second, that same week found out that we are having another sweet little boy due December 28!!! (we could not be happier). And, as for an excuse for not posting earlier, we have not had the Internet until recently. We hope all is well with everyone and are excited to get caught up on 'blog watching' to see what you all have been up to! Our sweet little boy in one of his last binki pictures! Wes was a champ and made getting rid of it pretty easy.
Wes loves to play with stickers...most all of them usually end up on his head. As for the silly glasses, well he just likes to wear them.
You may not be able to tell from the picture, but riding the "machines" (four wheelers) up at Papa's cabin is probably his favorite thing to do ever! It is ALL he talks about.
I got some cute frames in the house and wanted some cute pictures to put in them, so my friend and I went to the park and took pictures. This is one my friend took while Wes was "hiding" (yet another recent favorite pastime of his).
WE did it!!! Wes is now in a big-boy-bed and has done a great job!
I made some brownies the other day and Wes could not get enough of the batter!
If your shoes are lying anywhere around our house, rest assured that Wes will try them on. It is so cute! I will try and get a picture of him in my boots!
Dave and Wes mow the lawn together every week. Sometimes this makes me nervous but they won't have it any other way.
I walked into Wesley's room the other day and found him this way. (Sometimes I wonder what he is thinking!)
My mom, sister, and I went to Gardner Village the other day to see the witches, this is my sister and Wes pulling a silly face.
He was fascinated with the little pond and the witch and ducks in it.
This is a cute picture of my mom and Wes smelling the flowers. Wes calls my mom Bauka, and no one can figure out where he got the name from. But of coarse she thinks it is cute.
Wesley loved the witches - he pointed a lot of them out to us.
Here is one of the witches we saw, sometimes I feel like I would do anything for chocolate and candy too!

Quick Update....More to come.....

On May 2, 2008, Dave graduated with a Masters Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering, with an emphasis in Transportation Engineering, from the University of Utah. YEAH - no more school! He'll continue working at URS Corporation now full-time (he loves what he does).
Our sweet little boy loves to play with the ball at the park. Lauren goes walking three times a week with some friends and our friend Leslie Bjorklund took this picture.
To celebrate our 4th Anniversary and Dave's (and Lauren's!) graduation, we went to San Diego for four days. Neither one of us had been there before and we had a blast. Our first day there we went to the San Diego Temple (one of the most beautiful in our humble opinion).
We also went to the San Deigo zoo and had a really fun time taking all sorts of pictures with our new Nikon camera.
Here's a cool shot of a zebra (as if you couldn't already tell).
Of course a trip to San Diego wouldn't be complete without visiting Shamu at SeaWorld. We had lots of fun walking around and seeing some pretty cool animals/fish/mammals/etc - ha ha!
Grandma and Grandpa Andersen were nice enough to watch Wes while we were in San Diego - as you can tell, Wes didn't miss us - not even a little bit!
We had a Lehman family reunion in Dave's aunt's backyard - it was a luau theme. The food was great but it was even better to get together with all the cousins and chitchat.
The next day we went to Cherry Hill and had lots of fun in the water and sun. Wesley absolutely loved the kiddy pool area and lazy river (and doesn't he look super cute in his swim gear?!).
Our little guy is growing up so fast! It seems like he's grown 3 inches in the last week.
Daddy and his best little buddy Wes on the four wheeler at Papa's cabin.
A little bit of news on the "home front" - we're planning on moving into this house the first week in August. It's in Woods Cross, UT and we are super excited (and a bit nervous)!
And finally, last but not least, our family is growing (again)! This little critter is expected to arrive December 28, 2008. We trying to get Wes excited about being a big brother - obviously we'll be keeping you all up to date on Lauren and the new baby's progress (as well as how Daddy and Wesley are handling it all).

Easter + A Little Bit

Our Easter was good one, we celebrated it by having the Easter Bunny come and leave a few treats at our house, (what a generous bunny) and that evening we ate with Dave's family and had a yummy dinner. But most importantly we were able to go to church and remember the true meaning of Easter. We are so blessed to have a Savior who loved us so much that he gave his life for us. We are able to live with our families and return to our Heavenly Father because of that wonderful gift we have been given. We are so blessed!
Wes would crawl around to all of the hidden candy and put it in his mouth. We had to find it all quick and hide it from him. It was really cute.
We took some pictures of Nicole and Wes in there Eater outfits, and had a really hard time getting Wes to hold still.
Told ya
A little more evidence of our busy little bee.
We were able to to snap this picture real quick while he stopped to laugh.
Here is out happy little buddy!
He has his Daddy's blue eyes.
These next few pictures are not of Easter, but are fun ones that we had.(hence the Little Bit More in the blog title) This is Wes in the morning, he sometimes will have the best bed head!
This is our little Lepricon all decked out for St. Patrick's Day
Wes pullin' a pose for the camera... work it!
Wes and Nicole love each other so much, this is one of there many kisses.

Some of the fun things Wes likes to do!

Wes and his cousin Nicole LOVE to be pushed around in the kitchen chair and could do it for literally hours.
If it is not the kitchen chair why not take a ride on anything that moves...lets try the computer chair!
When Wes doesn't feel well, he loves to be with his Dad, and yes it makes a Mommy a little sad, but thats where I want to be when I am sick .
Wes loves to catch his Dad when he is doing something silly. Dave said he was just doing his homework and they were on the desk so why not.. I guess I can't disagree on that one.
Yummy! PB&J is one of Wesley's favorite things to eat.
There is nothing quite like Tupperware We probably get to clean a this mess 3 to 4 times a day.

New Years

For New Years Eve day we went up to the Lehman Family Cabin. We went snowmobiling with some of our friends and family. That evening, we were able to go up to our brother in laws cabin and spend the night with my family as well as some good family friends. We sure did luck out, it was so much fun!
We had to hurry and take a picture to prove that Wes had in fact gone snowmobiling
Someone being pulled on a tube
Dave and Chris after a little bit of fun in the snow
A tree we saw on our way back from Heber, I thought that something must have gone really wrong. However, my sister said that they freeze the tree every year and color some of the icicles.
Wes was all tuckered out after a long fun weekend!
Happy News Years everyone, and I hope that your year will be a good one! Love, The Lehmans

The Christmas Season 2007

In the middle of the month, we were able to go for a ride on the "Polar Express" in Heber with my family. This is a cute picture of Wes with his grandma and grandpa Andersen during our ride to the North Pole.

Wes always gets into some of the most awkward positions while he sleeps.
We make gingerbread houses every year with my family and this is what Dave and I came up with this year.
